Planning to take the CPA Exam in 2027 or 2028? The AICPA has released updated testing and score release schedules to help you plan.
Beginning in July 2027, the CPA Exam will transition to a new technology platform with an updated user interface. This transition will affect testing availability and score release dates.
Core Sections: AUD, FAR, and REG
Core section testing will be unavailable during the following periods:
- July 1–11, 2027
- December 16–31, 2027
- March 16–31, 2028
- June 16–30, 2028
Discipline Sections: BAR, ISC, and TCP
Discipline sections will continue to be offered during the first month of each quarter—January, April, July, and October. However, testing will be unavailable July 1–11, 2027.
