All Reinstatement Applications are reviewed by the CPE and Licensing Committees, which can cause a delay in processing the application.
Inactive registrants who wish to return to active status must:
- Complete 120 hours of approved continuing professional education (CPE), including at least 4 hours of ethics, within 3 calendar years. Documentation verifying successful completion of the CPE must be submitted to the Board. Use the CPE Reporting Form to keep track of your CPE hours as you will need to upload this spreadsheet along with all the certificates of completion.
- Contact the Board office to request that the Reinstatement Application be assigned to your Certemy account.
Important: CPE hours used to meet the reinstatement requirement cannot also be used to renew your active permit. Depending on your renewal period, you may need to complete additional CPE hours for renewal. Please contact the Board office for guidance about your specific requirements.
